Staff Development and Training

Public agencies hire HZA to conduct staff training and professional development activities for caseworkers, supervisors, and managers as well as specialized workers such as home visitors. Professional development activities are delivered through a combination of techniques such as formal presentations, group and individual exercises, practice sessions, and facilitated or guided discussion either in single or multiple sessions. HZA staff use a variety of formats including face-to-face training, live webinars, recorded webinars and computer-assisted training. HZA uses Adobe CAPTIVATE software to produce professional, web-based teaching tools such as webinars.
